Using video in class

Post an idea for using video in your history class. Really think out what you would like to do and how you would like to do it! Also, comment on one other person's idea.

  1. I think that we could break into groups, receive a certain section, and then our group has to make a video about it. My group in We the People made a video for our project and it was fun and hilarious.

  2. I was also in kaitlyn's we the people group and i had a lot of fun and i learned alot of information on our topic. I think that making a video is a good idea. I agree with Kaitlyn, we should break up into groups and each be assigned a topic and work together to create an informational video.

  3. We could do a video about Louisiana. Like the animals, the main attractions, New Orleans, and Avery Island. Stuff like that.

  4. I am commenting on Emily H.'s post. I agree, I too learned a lot and I had a fun time doing it. It is a fun way for us to present our information. Plus it doesn't take that much time.

  5. WE should make a video about important historical actions that happened. We could research the event and then make a storyboard and script about it. THen we could act it out video it and edit it into a final copy that we could present to the class.

  11. I am commenting on Kaitlyn. That is a good idea Kaitlyn! Our We the People group, like you said, did a video and it was really great.
We should break up into groups and receive something to video on. I like the idea of saying something in historical and political terms and then do a short thing afterwards that makes sense. You remember we did that in our video right? With the rap? Yeah, I know you remember now.

  13. I think that when we are learning about wars and trials, a video would be fun and effective. This would give an artificial sense of realism in the events.

  24. Well...I see that we have had one giant "Love Your Ideas" Fest. On our next blog, I would like to see meaningful posts that do not contain only the words..."I agree with..." and that's the entire post. We will also need to do some peer editing on posts. It will be a great grammar usage review. Love ya!!!
